The Best Kind of Joke
My favorite kind of joke is the kind where someone else, who has no idea about the joke, delivers the punch line. A few years ago, a co-worker of mine decided to form a Wine Club at the office. Every Friday, someone would bring a bottle of wine at the end of the week and we would sit around and chat. It was a great idea, and I was pleased when he invited me to join the Wine club. I accepted the invitation, thanked him for asking me to participate, and as I was leaving I turned around to look at him and send "You know the first rule of Wine Club?" He turned to his laptop before he laughed and said "Don't talk about Wine Club?"
That's my favorite kind of joke.
